I went to the supermarket the other day to pick up something for the dinner,
Jade asked if she could get a packet of chocolate chip cookies,
I was just leaving the store and happened to glance at my recipt,
The price of a packet of Maryland Chocolate Chip cookies..........................97p
I thought that can't be right,60 or 70 pence surley but 97p,that is daylight robbery,
I actually went back to the shelf to check the price ticket and it was right. Shocking xx

I went to go and get the rest of the material i need but typical the place had the cushions but not the material I did buy this though which i thought was too good a bargain to pass up I am planning on doing a picture (somehing the same as my sister has,well she has a few variations) and i said something LIKE (copyright n all that) that involves gold leaf,3'd paint,glass???? tried to get smoothed glass when we went to the Hobbycraft shop but they only had mosaic pieces and they were quite small Jade has a lot of glass beads so may just use them AND the luck of the irish! xx

My chickadee said she was going up to her room to play a while ago,i was caught up reading the results of the Blogscars that i did'nt notice the time, I have just went up and she is in bed fast asleep, I didn't get to tuck her in,give her a kiss and say "Goodnight baby,sweet dreams,see you in the morning" Bugger ,i know it doesn't seem much, but it is to me. xx

I decided to start the curtains today,
Luckily my pal decided to visit so she got roped into helping me

Do you know that machine i am using is 22 years old  I halved in for it when my sister was 18 and it is still going stong!
The one my pal is using is my sisters new one and she had given me a loan of it in case mines didn't work.

Through my stupid fault we actualy made the curtains wider  than they needed to be so now i am short of material,hope i can get more cause it was way last year i bought it, But it just means the curtains will be fuller than they were going to be,still better more fullness than the other,ain't that right girl's "ahem".
Just 2 more curtains to go then thats them finished,need to nag Mo to make the pelmets  xx

I had a strop tonight,which isn't like me but i have been feeling tired today and i went to Tesco with Jade to pick a few things up,
We needed some juice glasses and i bought big ones because i like a big glass of juice when i have one.

I came home and unpacked them and Mo said "Aw you did'ny get them did you, why did you not get something smaller,something a bit fancier?"
WTF!  I said "Why is it when i buy something you never like it,you buy the fuckin glasses then" and i put them straight in the bin!
He said "That's it i'm not going to open my mouth again,i can never say anything right"

And with that i unpacked the rest of the stuff and fucked off out,didn't know where i was going i just left and thought "They can get their own fuckin dinner!"
I ended up in Asda and wandered round the store for about an hour,
Natalie text me 20 mins after i had left asking when we were gettin dinner,she hadn't even realized i wasn't there,she sometimes texts me from up the stairs.
Then about another 20 mins Mo text saying he was sorry and where was I.

So i headed home and took them in a kebeb for dinner,strop over xx

I was just thinkng tonight after i went to the material place to get lining and trim for my curtains i am going to make for the livingroom. I have spent an absolute fortune on these f****ing things and i haven't even made them yet I would have probably been cheaper to get them made up professionaly True i bought the actual material way back last year and it has just been sitting there gathering dust,maybe this will make me get my finger out, Well Mo still has to make the wooden pelmets up.

I have droped my pal of at the hospital,she has to get a camera put into her bladder because she has had blood in her urine? She was a bit nervous and they said it would take about an hour,saw her medical file and it was about 5 inches thick,i said "Bloody hell Linda you have been getting your money out of the NHS anyway"

I had to leave to get jade from school but said i would go back and pick her up, she said she would get the bus home but i said "No,I will come and get you" It is about an hour bus journey I don't know that end of the city well and always get anxious driving places i don't know but i wouldn't have her sitting on a bus for an hour especially if she is feeling a bit sore. That hospital is massive too and is like a maze,we had to go to 2 different departments and had to ask umpteen people where to go. Just waiting on her phoning to say thats it over, hope i do'nt get caught in rush hour traffic

Think i will treat her to a steak dinner if she feels up to coming back to mine xx

So now i have to cut more material off and resew it again xx

I slept really weird last night, i felt as if most of the night i was just hovering on the brink of sleep and had loads of things running through my head,
I got up a couple of times too,must have slept at some point i guess,
Thought i was going to be taking my pal to the hospital today for a blood test but turns out she can just get it done at her doctors tomorrow so it is just Wednesday she has to go to the hospital for tests as she has blood in her urine?
Feel tired so think i will catch a few zzzz's  on the couch xx

Last night was so much fun,I haven't laughed so much in ages and we went to the Dancing Well the pub we were in was connected to it so you just walked through which was good so you didn't have to pay to get in. Was asked to go out tonight and thought may as well but it was a spur of the moment thing and i thought it was only going to be a couple of us but now it has turned out there is a squad of us going so it will be good

My sister phoned today and asked me if i wanted to go shopping with her,

Bought myself a couple of tops from Zara,
Never go in that shop was only in it cause my sister was looking,
So after following her about in and out about 50 different shops,
Everytime the kids were complaining they were hungry,
Eventualy gets them a Mc D's
Then saw a silver top and thought "Oh I could wear that tonight so i will see"

Think there is going to be 9 of us tonight all  women so it should be good,
I even asked if Natalie and her pal wanted to come but she said no,
Probably doesn't want to be seen with all us old foggies

Jade told me this morning her teatcher from last year has just had a baby and called her Lucy.
This is brilliant news because she has only been married a couple of years and one of the parents told me she has  had about 5 miscarragies.
She was off most of last year,she left soon after we found out she was expecting and i was wondering how she was doing.
They must have told her to rest through her full pregnancy.

Jade said she told them her class will be the first to see the baby so Jade is looking forward to it, I said we will buy a card and a gift to give to her.

In other news,i have a funeral to go to today,my best pal's aunt died and she asked me to go with her.
Need to go get ready xx

So that's us back and we are like a couple of frozen snotters!
It is baltic out there,luckily i had the sense to put gloves and a scarf on.
The wee horse,think it is a Shetland Pony wasn't there,funny because it usually is every time i pass by on my way to my sisters.
His pals were though!
They were in their shed and i thought aww that must be them in there for the night but little did i know they could get out.
One started out and stood and stared at us,so me bein a smartarse made the clucking noise with my tounge only for the friggin thing to canter right down to us,I swear i nearly shit myself and if i hadn't been standing on a grass verge right next to a dual carrageway with rush hour traffic zooming by,i would have ran away,had to look to see if i had left a wee pile of manure myself.
Jade kept askin to clap it but i was too scared incase it bit her,i'm actually a bit scared of them up close,think it is the size,maybe it thought we had something for it to eat.
So it had a sniff at Jades scooter Think it was looking for the No 18 bus coming.

So it got fed up and pissed off.
Went back to it's pal and started frolicking in the mud
We went to go up to the house as it was round the side but saw  a sign saying "BEWARE OF DOG" and heard a dog barking then saw a mad orange mut running around and decided to turn back and go home. Click pics to make big! xx

I'm bored (even though i have a load of washing i  could be doing) so i suggested to jade we go up and see if the wee horse that lives a 5 min drive up the road is out and we could take a few pictures.
Even though it is 5 mins to drive,it is on a dual carrageway and is hard to park so i said we will just walk and it is all up hill so it will take us at least 15 mins to walk,going slow of course

Knowing my luck we will go all the way there and the horse won't be there,Jade is asking if she can clap it but i don't know how to get into the front of the house because it is on a corner will have a gander when i get up there xx

I bought Jade the Barbie magazine tonight and just noticed on the back page,
There is an invite to Barbie's Birthday Party,
Except it is in Hamleys Toy Store in London,pity if it was anywhere nearer i would have taken Jade along,aww well.
It says she is doing a national tour so maybe she might end up here,i would quite like to see what the REAL life Barbie looks like?

I gave Natalie a good rollicking last night,
She had been babysitting for my sister and asked one of her stupid boy pals for a lift home at 2 in the morning.
So there was Natalie,her pal and Jade in the car along with this idiot.
I already don't particularly like this guy,he is too far up himself and i don't like the way he strings Natalie along.
But i found out he must have been driving like a maniac when Jade told me she was scared in the car,
So i questioned Natalie and even her pal said she was frightened too.

Wee arsehole,if he wants to kill himself by being stupid and driving like that fine but he is not doing it when my kids are in his car,wait till the next time i see him!.

I have told Natalie i don't want her in his car again. xx

So i'm at critical now and as the witch in the Wizard of Oz said "I'm meeellllttttiiiiiinnnnnngggggg!" xx

Having taken Natalie,her friend Dahria and Jade up to my sisters tonight as Natalie  is babysitting,
I stayed a while to make sure the wee one would settle,he has been a bit grouchy today,
Don't know but 4 kids from his playgroup have gone down with Chicken Pox so maybe it is working on him.
Shit,i don't think Jade has had them and she is staying there tonight.

He was fine after a while,then after touring the take-aways,
Jade wanted Dominno's,Dahria wanted chinese,Natalie and Teri wanted Chip Shop,
I came back and fed them all.

He was fine when i left so hopefully he will stay that way,Natalie is good with him anyway so it should be okay.
I have been trying to read through my friends blogs and have 6 pages to go only to discover Natalie has taken the charger with her for the laptop as her charger is broken (fly wee git)
So my battery says i have 54 mins left,so if i fade out then you will know why  and i will catch up with everybody tomorrow,once i get MY charger back!
Had an uneventfull Valantines night,Mo is in bed unwell so he said we will go out next week,i aint that bothered anyway so,hope everyone is having a nice night xx

I am knacked tonight,been running here there and everywhere,
Thought i was to take Jade for her check up at the hozzy today but remembered they sent me another appointment,i would have looked a right wally if i had went there.(feels as if she has put a bit of weight on,which is good!)
Then i went and got my wadding (and nearly a turtle)
Came home
Picked Natalie up from the train station,
Came home
Went to mc'dsand got Jade a happy meal,
Came home
Ran Natalie and her 2 pals to one of their houses (while i was halfway through my dinner)
Had to abandon it because they HAD to go RIGHT NOW! or so Natalie (selfish cow ) was exclaiming!
Came home and scraped the rest of my dinner in the bin!
Young Sister phones,can i give her boyfriend a run to his work,his lift has cancelled
The guy works as a long distance lorry driver  maybe they have never heard of buses.
I ran my pal home first, then ran him  and my young sis to his work.
Then ran my young sis home.
Came home.

To me this is normal,excuse me while i collapse ! xxxx

Went to buy the wadding for my pelmets and to go inside Jades patchwork quilt,it worked out i needed 5 metres.
I wanted it quite thick so got the thickest they had,the woman just cut it and bundled it up and gave me it like that!
Didn't even try and tie anything around it to secure it,just as well it was a short walk to the car,i was getting some funny looks from people
Jade tried it out for comfyness xx

Nearly bought Jade one of these today!
They were about an 3 inches big and were soooooooo cute.
£25 for a wee turtle i thought was alright so we phoned Mo.
Then i asked the guy if they were hard to maintain, "Not really" He said "But by the time you buy the tank and stuff it is about £140"
 Not so keen now.
"And!" the guy says "They don't stay that size they can grow quite big"
 Definately not keen now
"How long do they live?" I asked.
"Oh about 30 years" says he.
 Fuck that! Definately NOT getting one.

The guy said if they stayed the size they were just now he would sell hundreds of them.

I couldn't sleep
I went to bed at 12.30 and woke up at 4am
Came down and made a cup of tea,scooted about blog but not much happening.
Did see a picture of a young guy lying on a couch,naked with his wanger in his hand,don't think it was directed towards the ladies though,
It was something to look at while i ate my toast n tea
It's 6.30,Mo is just getting up so might go back up and try n catch another hour xx

I bought myself these tonight
Normaly i don't eat chocolate but i had a notion for one of these but i didn't want one of the standard size bars,it would be too much for me.
I am deciding wether to have one or not??????
I love the taste but hate getting the nuts stuck in my teeth,
I used to love having the nuts in my teeth to
Maybe if i just suck it a bit,but that is defeating the purpose

I have bought a plain black roller blind for the bathroom and was going to sew the diamontie shower curtain over it but i went to do it today and some of the diamonties are a bit ski wiff and it does not look right,i know once it is up you will only see a wee bit of it but it would bug me,i'm such a perfectionist that way.

So i am just going to buy the real macoy material and sew that on,i need some for the pelmets i am going to make for the livingroom too,once i get round to making the curtains  I have had the material sitting there for months,but i am in the mood now (sort of)

Jade announced she wants me to make her a patchwork quilt,don't know where she got that idea from,they were probably talking about it in school or something. I will look when i go for the material for nice scap pieces of material and see how it goes.
It would have to be pretty and girlie if Jade is to like it.

I once made Natalie a quilt cover with pink and lialac  /\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\'s all the way around the edge,boy did that take ages,i had to sew individual triangles of both colours,turn them out the right way then sew them all together in one big chain then sew them on the edge of the quilt cover (yes i do like making things hard for myself) I also made her curtains and a pelmet to match,that was when i had more time on my hands though xx

My best friend's boyfriend has a son,he is 8 i think and he gets him every other weekend.
She is always saying how he is "Solid" or "Chunky" (the son)
Admit it he is FAT!,i have seen pictures and seen him from afar but it annoys me,i really have to bite my tounge when she talks about him.

Annyhoo! Her boyfriend took him golfing the other day and was teaching him how to swing properly,
The wee guy not listening to a word his Da said, swung and the Da copped it right in the eye
Sorry but i don't particularly like the guy so my heart isn't bleeding (his heed wis though)

Seems it was quite bad and they thought his skull was fractured,a consultant was sticking his finger in the hole to see if he could feel anything?????
They kept him in overnight once they had stitched him up,turns out it was chipped,not fractured.
The wee guy must have had a good swing on him
Bet his Da wanted to swing for him once it happened.

My pal was saying the other day she is thinking of finishing it with him,they have been together for 5 years and are engaged too.
She says it's not him it's her???
They are just arguing all the time and she is blaming her depression,
He has been staying at his mothers a lot because she said she needs space,
So if it does happen i will be there for her anyway. xx

My wee faithful camera is GUBBED!
It was working last night?
Maybe those pics i had taken  were just TOO much!
The card was acting weird and was coming up "Read Error" sometimes so i deleted loads of pictures on it but to no avail.
It is just a blank screen when i press the button and the shutter isn't even working,
I put new batteries in as well.

We had a download of the white stuff tonight and the kids made a cool snow woman complete with bikkini and everything
Would have liked to have shown it,i did take a pic with my phone so try and figure if i can post a pic with that.

Good excuse to ask for a nice new one!

Before i left for the party,Natalie said i could pass for a secratary So i got a loan of her glasses and posed a bit for a laugh.

The Birthday Girl is the one in the middle,her mum is on the right in black,she is a brilliant person,have known her for years,the party was a bit of a let down though! It is hard to believe this woman is 30,i always remember her as being a young girl.

I bought myself a new dress to wear,not convinced i will wear it though we will see
It will be good to meet up with old friends again,been a long time.

I have been searching high and low in all the shops at my bit for weeks trying to get Natalie these NEW Crunchy Nut Bites but i could never get them.
Last night i was in Tesco and spotted them "Eventually!" I thought.
I gave Natalie a bowl..........this afternoon when she got up
She dosen't like the bloody things!!!!!!
So the full box has went in the bin.

I know for a fact i wouldn't eat them and i know Jade wouldn't,fookin waste of money xx

Jade was starving after school and managed to polish off 2 bowls of my homemade soup
Glad to see her eating a bit better,maybe she will put a bit of weight on.

She has been compyling a wee scrapbook of drawings she has done of birds,
She had done them in school and brought them home to do it,
After she had her soup she announced she wanted to go outside and take some pictures of birds so she can draw them,
Someone had given her a disposable camera for Christmas so she is away out armed with this and wearing my leather gloves  i dread to think how the pics will turn out but i thought this was quite cute her doing this,the light is fading now so she will be in soon.

Turns out it was a disasterous mission,she couldn't get any pictures cause the birds kept flying away

You know how i got a newer car a good few months ago,well we had taken out the 2 year warranty on it and Mo was like to the salesman "You had better be good for this waranty because i know they are usually a lot of rubbish"
The salesman  was saying "Oh no definately we will honour the waranty no bother" That will be another £400 n odd quid for it!

So my speedomiter isn't a dial it is just BIG red numbers that come up and the petrol gauge below,i noticed the petrol gauge has been acting funny and there has been a vibating noice coming from somewhere so i told Mo and he said i will get it booked in for a service,then he remembered it was still under waranty.

He went to the garage and tell them no dates were put down for my FREE service and MOT in the pack and it was the manager he was speaking to,"No,no,no," the manager said " You only get one or the other" Mo was not happy, then he said to the manager about the petrol gauge and the guy said  "They do that sometimes it will settle down"

Then Mo said about the noise and the guy said "If you bring it in we will look at it and see if the part it needs is under waranty"
Mo said "And while they are looking for the part,I will have to pay the £75 an hour or whatever it is for the time they take to find it"
"Exactly" Manager said
"I knew your waranty was a load of crap" Mo said
"Well the only other thing you can do is take it to a garage and get them to pinpoint what part you need and let us know and we can tell you if it is under waranty or not" The guy said.

The salesman who sold us the car approched and Mo said to him "Did you know about all this,i told you the warranty was crap"
After a brief explanation the Salesman says to Manager "What? The customer is charged for the time to locate the faulty part,no i didn't know this"
Mo to salesman "So you are trying to tell me you have been working here and you did'nt know this,somehow i think that is a load of rubbish!"
Anyway Mo is going to phone them and tell them to cancell the warranty but as Mo said they will probably turn round and say it is included in the credit agreement and he can't.
Mo is not a happy bunny! He said  "The first thing that goes wrong with it he is trading the f***ing thing in!"  xx

I just went to the bank there and it is on the main road so you can never get a parking space so i usually park in the supermarket car park which is 2 mins away.

I was walking back and passed a bus stop and 3 young guys about 16/17 were standing and one said to another, "Ask if her name is JOY?" I don't know if they were being serious or just being sarcastic, Probably sarcastic the wee bas****ds  xx

Next door have decided to get their loft insulated today,
Funny i would have thought you would get that done before the winter months to get the benefit,
Didn't realize it would be so noisey,
The guys have a big generator going in the van out front and they are drilling holes in the eaves with a BIG drill.

I always though you just bought they big rolls from B&Q and placed them down to insulate your loft,just shows you what i know!

In other news..........We have mice................in the garage
They must be coming from the field at the back.
Mo set a trap and came down the next morning to find the cheese gone but the trap undisturbed xx

I've had a lazy day napping on the couch wrapped in the spare quilt,
Natalie has just made me a BLT Baggette so be back later xx

I nearly made it to the top of the hill then it happened did'nt it.
I could feel the wheels starting to spin and i was losing control,
Paniking i give it more gas only to go nowhere and Natalie is starting to panic
Manage to get to the top sliding nearly onto the other side of the road (glad nobody was turning into our srtreet at the time)
By this time i am shaking like a leaf
The rest of the journey was fine as the main roads are quite clear.

Think i will just walk to collect Jade from School.
Don't know how Natalie will get back from work but i'm not driving in that again today! xx

It has been snowing quite heavy here and has dumped another good bit on us,it stopped for a wee while but it is back on again.
I just hope i can get up the hill,the bin lorry was struggling a few mins ago and Natalie has to go to work soon
Did i say i hate driving in the snow!

Meant to tell you that when i went to clear the snow from the car to switch the engine on to clear my windscreen,
I opened the drivers door only for the snow,not to fall outwards as expected but bloody in the way all over my drivers seat
Had a wet but driving Jade to School this morning! xx

I didn't think we were going to get any snow or a light dusting at best but when i went out last night i stopped at the garage to get petrol and it was so cold i was absoloutely shivering while i stood  at the pump and i was only exposed for about 5 mins.

I didn't sleep good last night and one time i woke up it was so bright outside i thought "Well either the moon is right outside the window or it has been snowing "and when i looked out it was coming down fast and furious.

This morning it looked like this
