It is one of natalies pals 18th birthday today,
Natalie just told me she got a car from her parents as one of her presents,
It sort of pale's Natalies piddly birthday present into significance,
"sigh" It has made me feel shit now xx

On the way to the shopping centre with my sis today,
she was driving along quite the thing (like a maniac as usual) but the street she was on was exceptionaly bumpy and i said "For goodness sake" as i was getting tossed about all over the place,
and she drives an X5 jeep so the road must have been bad,
Then she slows down and says "There that has done that again"
I said "Done what?"
"The car has just cut out!" she says,
"What!"
She said it has done it a couple of times recently and if i remember right It happened when i was in it over a year ago,
it happened when she was taking the cut off road from the motorway and because it was on a bend she nearly crashed into the barrier because her steering locked,i well shit myself,
I said she better get that fixed pronto because imagine if it happened on the motorway or something like that,
It doesn't bear thinking about! xx

So it ended up i didn't go into town today as Natalie didn't want to go because it was raining,
I met up with my big sis and we went to the big shoping centre near hers,
It had a "Topshop" and that is where i wanted to get my dress out of,
Except it was sold out and sold out in the shop i would have went to in the morning,
Bloody typical! Everybody else all had their dresses and i was the only one not got anything ,
So we looked in some other shops and i saw one i liked so i tried it on and my pal and sis said it was lovely on,
It was communal changing rooms and this guy came out and went "Whoot whoo!"
So that was my mind made up
It is a "Rare" dress and when i showed Natalie it she said "The Saturdays are wearing that brand of clothing"

I was starving when i got up this morning,
So i had some breakfast which is unusual for me,
Jade said "Mum you are having breakfast"

I had toast and mackrel in tomato sauce and it was delishious,
All Jade could say was "Ewwww!" xx

I have made home made cottage pie for dinner tonight,
We will see how it goes down,
Or not as the case may be xx

My big sis came down yesterday,
My neice was with her and we went for lunch with my pal for her birthday,it was lovely,
Then my neice wanted to go into the charity shops to look for vintage clothes,she is right into vintage stuff just now,
My sis spent a fortune,first we went into "Barny's" or "Barnardos" to everyone else,
That is one of the dearest charity shops there is and she got a couple of things,
Then we went into another one and my sis spent £50 on bags and other stuff for my neice,
My neice did get a mink coloured short fur coat which was lovely that was £15,
Funny how all this vintage stuff has all came about again xx

My nephew failed his driving test this morning, "numpty!" xx

My house phone rang at 1.50am this morning,
But Mo being a plonker and half awake thought it was the alarm (as he uses that for an alarm) so just lifted it off the bit it sits in and put it back down again,
"Why didn't you answer the phone" I said,
"Wha? I thought it was the alarm" he said,
I did 1471 but it was a withheld number,
I only know my best pals number to come up withheld so i text her and she must have been up cause she text me right back and said it wasn't her,
I suppose if it was important they would have phoned back but i can't help thinking that it could have been my other pal who's mum is dying,
I will give her a phone today and just see how she is doing.........................................

Update............Just phoned her and it was her that phoned,her mum passed away yesterday morning xx

I have had one hell of a morning,
Natalie was running about getting ready to go to college,
Then at 8.15 she says "Come on mum i need to go i am going to miss my train"
So we rush out the door,i hadn't even brushed my hair,
We gets to the top of the street and she says "Can you go back i have left my phone and my cashline card,"
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
So i start screaming at her about getting things orginized at night so she has everything in the morning,
I start to reverse back down the hill and one of my neighbours is reversing out of their drive and i nearly ram right into them,
I drive back up to the top of the hill and park on the pavement,
"Go run  down and get your stuff" I said,
"I was just going to say i could get the next train" she says,
*&^%%$£$%^&
I drive back into the drive and scream "I swear to God you do my F'ing nut in!!!!"
I get out an slam the car door with steam coming out my ears,

Then at 8.40 we leave again and she says "I need to go to the cashline to get money out"
We goes to the cashline and she comes back to the car and says "I don't have any money in my account????"
"OH! For fk sake,i don't belive this"
It was the bank that empted her account because she has not had enough money in it to pay her phone bill and this was them taking the charges off for it (long story)
"Well  i don't have any money" I said,
So we drive back home again!
By this tme it is 8.55 so i take Jade to school,
I came back and was going to break one of the £50 Mo gave me for my birthday to give her train fare and she said "I have birthday money left but it is £50 notes to"
So we leave again at 9.15 and i drop her off at the train station (hoping they would give her change of a £50 note)
"Text me when you are on the train" I said,
I come back home and she texts me at 9.38 to say that is her on the train,
I text back "Thank f**k for that!" xx

It is my best pals birthday today,
So we are treating her to a birtday lunch ,
I am just back from Aldi's,i went for a nosey,
Sometimes you get a good bargain in there if you go at the right time,
I picked up couple of things, a meat feast pizza that i love and the frozen chips Natalie likes,fresh egg waffles and chocolate brownies for Jade and some other bits and bobs,
I got myself a pair of cozy jammies for £5.99 and they have lovehearts on the bottoms and a plain raspberry coloured top,also picked up a couple of pairs of those fluffy lounge socks, stripey purple ones and plain cream ones,they will probably go walkies cause Natalie likes to wear these in the house,

Mo gave me money for my Birthday so i am going to go into town with my sis on Thursday and buy myself a lovely dress to wear on my night out on Saturday,i have sort of seen one i like in Topshop so at least it will save having to trapse all over the place,right enough i will probably still be doing that if my sis is involved ,
Going to get changed and put some slap on for my pals birthday lunch so see ya all later xx

I took my young sis and her wee dog Frosti to the vets (the one you give a donation to)this morning,
He has been refusing to put weight on one of his hind legs since Friday,
We went and after a wait we were called in to see a nurse,she confirmed there was something wrong and suggested we wait to see the vet at 11.30 am as there was a cancelation (it was 10.30am)
So we waited and watched all the diferent cats and dogs being brought in,
It was really busy at some points and i was surprised how well behaved most of them were,
At one point a wee scruffy looking thing came in and the woman sat beside us,
The dog was deaf but this didn't stop my sisters dog taking a fancy to it and try humping it at every opertunity,
It was a boy to! and i said to my sis "Your dog must be bi cause it is trying to hump boy dogs as well"

There was one poor woman and her mother sitting and she was crying,
They had a collie with them and i guessed it was being put down,
They were called and the poor thing couldn't even get up to stand,the woman had to carry it,
They left without it
Then just before we were seen a guy came in with this dog and it was a monster!
It was a "Leonberger"
He sat next to us,
Never heard of them in my puff and the thing stood the same height as my waist and it's paws were massive!
It reminded me of "Notbobs" dog and i asked him it was related to "Newfoundlands?"
Turns out it is a cross between a Newfoundland and a St Bernard,
My sisters dog was growling at it but the man said "Don't worry she is a big softie" the Giant dog just sniffed my sisters dog and procceded to lie down trapping my foot underneath it ,
I did give her a clap and she was so soft and fluffy just like a big teddy bear,
We went in to see the vet and it turns out "frosti" has pulled a muscle so she prescribed anti inflamitories and said not to let him do any running about or jumping off anything for a while till it heals,

Me and my sis were talking about how it must cost to feed a dog like that?
It probably eats more in a week than i do xx

Went visiting today again,
This time we met in my dad's cousins house his name is Austin,
His mum and dad were there (the ones with Alzheimers)
Charlotte (my dads other cousin/ Austins sister was there to)
And all their kids and 1 grandchild,
My big sis had brought all her kids with her, i just had Jade as Natalie was recovering from being out on Sat night for her birthday,
She said she will come the next time,
My young sis came today to,
We all sat down to trays of sandwiches,sausage rolls,cakes and biscuits and gallons of tea ,
I sat next to Charlie and Mary (the mum and dad)
I didn't speak to them much they were too busy eating and i was gobsmacked the amout of food they put away,i wondered if this had anything to do with the Alzheimers? Did they forget they just had a sandwich so continued to eat them?
The mum ate about 3/4 slices of cake one after another and it was at this point Charlotte said to Austin "Take that off her she will make herself sick"
I was laughing because at one point the mum glared at her husband and said "They are for THE people" talking about us because he was stuffing a sandwich in his gob ,
The mum asked Charlotte (her daughter) a few times who we were and she had to explain,charlotte would look at us and roll her eyes and laugh,
I even heard the mum ask Austins wife who we were?
The mum did ask me at one point who was in my papa's house as she had seen it was up for sale (my grandparents have been dead for years)
It is a shame and i think you must need some patience when dealing with someone with Alzheimers, i found out today the mum has had it for the past 10 years and the dad has just recently been diagnosed with it but he has dementia as well as that ,
I didn't know you could get both?
Found out Alzheimers is a slow progressing disease where as dementia is sudden,
The mum and dad still have their own house and Charlotte goes up every day and takes them to their doctors/hospital appt or the lunch club and just makes sure they are okay (that's dedication for you)
She said she doesn't know how much longer they will be able to stay in their own house the more muddled up they get,
the dad got up during the night a couple of weeks ago and fell cutting his eye quite badly that he needed stitches,it has healed now but still there is always the worry it can happen again,
Teri and Jade loved Charlotte so much so Teri asked to stay with her and it has been arranged for teri and jade to go stay with her in a few weeks time ,
My big sis has arranged for me and a load of girls to go out next Saturday for a meal and some dancing for my birthday so Charlotte is coming to that, i am looking forward to it,it should be a good laugh xx

Watched that film "Paranormal Activity" last night,
OMG what a load of crap,
People had been talking so highly of it as well,
The only thing remotely scary happened about 15 mins before it finished,
I have seen mickey mouse cartoons that were scarier xx

Jade was sittting doing her homework tonight and had not copied it out as she was supposed to,
So she had to rub it all out and start again,
She was not happy about this and started moaning and crying,
I scolded her because there was no need for it,the homework had to be done regardless,
I said after she had done it she could just go to bed (it was just after 9pm anyway)
I went to the shop and came back and she had left a note saying "There i have done it"
She always gets really grumpy and weepy when she is tired so think putting her to bed was the best thing to do,
It still makes me feel rotten though,
I still went up to tuck her in but she didn't give me a kiss xx

I am on a rescue mission this morning,
My big sis just phoned me and asked me to go up to hers after i take Jade to school,
She has electric gates and because it is really frosty this morning,
They have frozen over and they won't open,
So she can't get the wee man to nursery and asked me to take him,
Wait n see they will have thawed out by the time i get up there xx

It has been a bit hectic the past couple of days and i am just catching up on friends blogs ,
My young sis was babysitting for my big sis but didn't want to sit up in big sisters house on her own so she ended up staying at mine all day with 2 of big sisters kids,
I had my friend in and Natalie had a friend in,
Mo was not pleased it was noisy and he is used to a quiet house but it is my family so i told him to "shut it"

So Saturday night i had 9 for dinner,
after much debating about what to have that everybody would agree to we all eventually had home made chips and gravy with bread cheap and cheerfull and everybody thoroughly enjoyed them, (so much so i was making them again for natalie and her pal at 3am in the morning)
I ended up taking my young sis up to big sisters house at nearly midnight and my big nephew jonathan stayed the night at mine,
jonathan, Jade and Natalie get on great not like his wee sister she is a nightmare (luckily she wasn't there she was staying with a wee pal)

Today we went to Partick (where Nulty stays) cause i never go to that end of the city and my sis said it has some good shops,
(we went on the train,)
So we went for a nosey but all the shops were shut probably because it is Sunday,
We just did a bit of window shoping then sat outside a cafe bar and had a coffee,
The coffee was lovely and it had lots of froth on top,my young sis and pal were commenting on this when i stuck my face right in my cup and came up with a giant froth mustashe and the 2 of them were in fits of laughter my young sis nearly fell of her seat people must have thought we were nuts
Then tonight i had 8 for dinner but i just made pasta bolognaise,
Dropped everybody home,well Natalies pal is still here,
so now i am relaxing "Ahhhhhh!" xx

Natalie said she passed one of her assesments today,
She was to make someone up to look like a boxer complete with bruises,
Natalie was using Jade as a guinnea pig tonight,
She was practicing special effects on her,
this is what she did,
a burn on her arm,it is quite good for her first attempt,

I'm fed up looking at all these well endowed woman and nowadays it is even school kids (some of them look as if they are auditioning for "St Trinnians" right enough)
So i am going to invent a bra,yeah yeah i know you get these ones with gell and padding and allsorts in (well i only put them in if Mo fancies a licorice one)
But MY bra will be different,
You will be able to regulate it ,

Picture the senario,
You are walking casually along the street and coming toward you is this drop dead gorgeous guy,
What he look at you with your flat paps,no i don't think so,
With a couple of pumps you could outshine Jordan,just remember to wear a stretchy top or poppers that open easy ,

Need to iron out a couple of flaws first though,
If you put the pumps under your armpit the guy might think you are doing the "Funky Chicken" and give you a wide berth anyway,
If you put it on your knees the guy might think you are wafting your smelly "Sherreen Nangiany"
Hmm!
Might need to go back to the drawingboard with this one xx

I bought a load of veg to make Mo a veg curry so tonight i had this for my dinner,
Chicken pie,totties,cauli,broccolli,carrotts and mashed turnip,
Do you think i managed to eat it all.....................Nae yer right i only ate near half of it,

I really surprise myself sometimes,i really do,
At 5 mins to 3 the rain came on and it was lashing down,
But i had to go out to do the school run,
Gets in the car and it is not only torrential but starts hailstoning as well,
Gets to the school and it is chock a block with cars,
Drives in to the Chapel car park as that is what we are using temporarily while the new school is being built and because it is packed the guy in front just decides to stop where he is and jump out leaving his car, that meant nobody could get in or out,
Now there is cars behind me wanting to get in as well,i jumped out and said to the woman behind me "That guy has just left his car there and went to the school"
She was not best pleased i can tell you!
We all had to reverse back out and find a space ,
Stood waiting on jade,and stood and stood and stood,
Then i remembered!
It's friggin Tuesday,Jade has Art club on a Tuesday 3pm to 4pm,
Bollocks! xx

I think i have lost weight ,
All my trousers seem to be hanging off me,
The trousers i have on today are aged 14/15 from peacocks and i keep howking them up all the time,
I think you know you are too skinny when your man cuddles you in bed and the weight of his arm hurts your ribs ,
I actualy feel quite chirpy this morning,even though it has been peeing down here xx

Waved Jade of this morning on the bus,
The school got free tickets to go see the film Coraline at the pictures,
So there was 2 big coaches waiting to take them,
Think it was just P3 or P4 to P7 because there are some mild scary bits in it so it is not suitable for younger children,
There was only 1 other mum there with me,
i think it is nice to wave goodbye to your child if they are going on a trip,
I do it all the time,some of the other kids wave to me to
Well you never know if it will be the last time you see them,God forbid anything happens, xx
